Declutter Day 22

Craft Space

Up until this summer, my craft space was whatever room had the best place to spread out; usually the dining room table (which we use fairly regularly). It’s been coming together for awhile now in the loft, but this summer we finally pulled the trigger on cube shelves and peg board. And I love how it turned out.

Currently, everything is in its place (not in the middle of a project, obviously) so, unlike day 21, 5 minutes will be wasted.

And also, when you are crafting, everything has potential - even to a not-naturally-crafty person like me.

Set timer, and go!

All of the Christmas wrapping paper and gift bags have lived in the closet that leads into the attic for as long as we have lived in this house (15 years). It’s time to move that wrapping bin to a new home under the craft table in the loft. Wow, that opens up that closet quite nicely. There’s plenty of room on the floor and on the table to wrap.
